Hostile politics
It was an era of excitement and change in the capital with fashion making headlines along with personalities, from the rock and pop world. The 1980s were also a time of hostile politics and clashes with the miners.
Original locations
Photographer, Johnny Stiletto, snapped his way through the eighties and thought it was time to make them up into a book. Frances Lincoln is the publisher. ynuk.tv tracked down some of the original locations and found that they had not changed very much
