Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer has layed out further details in a statement in the House of Commons. This on the “unforgivable” error by officials in not telling him Peter Mandelson had failed his security vetting.
Starmer faces fresh criticism from opposition leaders over Mandelson row.
This as the opposition calls for Starmer’s resignation – conservative Kemi Badenoch has also said she is considering “every parliamentary option” for removing the PM.
