Met Gala 2025 – Red carpet and the Mark Hotel

Met Gala 2025 – Red carpet and the Mark Hotel – follow the creations LIVE

It’s the biggest night in fashion on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, as stars serve their most iconic looks for the 2025 Met Gala.

Watch live as stars leave The Mark Hotel in New York for the 2025 Met Gala. This year, the theme — “Tailored For You” — is focused on classic tailoring. “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style” is the first Met show to focus exclusively on Black designers. Also the first in more than 20 years to have a menswear theme.

Vogue says the subject of the exhibition is the “black dandy” which “examines the importance of clothing and style to the formation of black identities in the Atlantic diaspora”

So far, we’ve already seen Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour arrive, along with co-chairs for the night Coleman Domingo and Lewis Hamilton.

We have our eyes and ears on the carpet, so follow along for live coverage and analysis of the event.

The Met Gala takes place on the first Monday in May as the opening of New York’s Costume Institute exhibition.  It looks back at 300 years of Black fashion alongside the history of Black dandyism.

The gala’s arrival is fleeting: stars arrive, walk up the stairs, and disappear inside. There is a party with dinner and music.  And there is almost always Rihanna.
