Dame Caroline Dinenage, Chair of the Culture, Media and Sport Committee has written to the BBC, Channel 4, GBNews and TikTok.  This following widespread allegations about comedian and actor Russell Brand.

Dinenage said she would like to know what broadcasters doing to investigate

Dame Caroline outlined her concern about a culture in which rumours about bad behaviour were known but not tackled.

‘Several women’ said to have contacted The Times and The Sunday Times in the wake of a joint investigation with Channel 4 Dispatches.  The programme aired at the weekend and saw separate allegations of sexual assault and rape from four women between 2006 and 2013.  This when Brand at height of fame.
