NASA: Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena – UFOS – Independent Study Report
The study team – NASA – speak about a lengthy study into hundreds of reports of UFOs – or UAPs as it calls them
NASA – says no reason to conclude that extra-terrestrial sources behind the UAPs but also cannot rule out that possibility. It wants to create a ‘roadmap’ for future study and move from “sensationalism to science”. Also its important for national security and air safety – 16 of the world’s leading data and AI scientists have worked on the study.
Study team – Main goal today to move conjecture and conspiracy towards science and sanity and you do that with data, the whole purpose of the study
The media briefing discusses the report published by the Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena independent study team NASA commissioned, 2022.
The team’s report aims to inform what possible data collected in the future to shed light on the nature and origin of UAPs.
For example, observations of events in the sky that cannot be identified as aircraft or known natural phenomena – from a scientific perspective.
Briefing participants include:
NASA Administrator Bill Nelson.
Nicola Fox, associate administrator, Science Mission Directorate. NASA Headquarters in Washington.
Dan Evans, assistant deputy associate administrator for research, NASA’s Science Mission Directorate.
David Spergel, president, Simons Foundation and chair of NASA’s UAP independent study team.
The UAP independent study team is a counsel of 16 community experts. They are from across diverse areas on matters relevant to potential methods of study for UAP.
NASA commissioned the nine-month study to examine UAP from a scientific perspective. Also create a roadmap for how to use data and the tools of science to move our understanding of UAP forward.
