The Judge sentenced Lucy Letby to whole life in jail with no chance of parole for the murder of seven babies and the attempted murder of six more.

The nurse refused to enter the dock for sentence today. Rishi Sunak confirms the government is planning to change the law to compel convicts to attend sentencing.
The court heard statements from victims’ families, before the televised of the sentencing this afternoon.
Only two other women currently serving whole-life terms – Rosemary West and Joanna Dennehy.
Meanwhile, the NHS confirms ex-director of nursing from Countess of Chester Hospital suspended.
