Nurse Lucy Letby guilty of killing seven babies – watch and you’ll cry
The neonatal nurse Lucy Letby found guilty of murdering seven babies, making her Britain’s most prolific child killer.
Letby, 33, killed the babies at a Chester Hospital in 2015 and 2016.
She has also been found guilty of attempting to murder another six babies and sentenced on Monday. Letby has indicated she will not be in court for sentencing.
As the judge discharged the jury, he told the panel of four men and seven women that it had “been a most distressing and upsetting case” and were excused from serving on juries in the future.
Police are reviewing the admissions of 4,000 babies to hospitals where Letby worked. But stressed they are not investigating all 4,000.
