King Charles and Queen Camilla crowned – Westminster Abbey – 6 May

King Charles III and Queen Camilla were watched by family, friends personalities and dignitaries from around the globe as they were crowned in Westminster Abbey. About 2,300 guests attended.

It was the first Coronation in the UK for 70 years.

Gun salutes made across the UK, the abbey bells rang for two minutes and corks popped on the Mall in London where thousands had gathered.  I bet everyone had a great time.

The music was glorious and earlier the congregation read out allegiance to the King.

The ceremony was watched on TV around the world.
