King Prince and Princess greet fans along The Mall – watch the surprise when they  appeared on the eve of the coronation

A crowded Mall of loyal people could not believe their eyes when King Charles arrived with his son Prince William and Princess Catherine.

The royal family was there to say hello, have a chat and most of all to say thank you for their presence.

The fans responded with joy and congratulating Charles for becoming King of the country.  They also asked for selfies which the King reluctantly declined.  But William and Kate enjoyed posing for the fans.

Within 24 hours the crowd would next see them in a carriage heading for Westminster Abbey for the coronation ceremony.
