Coronation: BBC Singers – Zadok the Priest – chosen for Westminster Abbey ceremony

They performed on the One Show and led by conductor Owen Parr.  The BBC Singers perform Handel’s Zadok the Priest.

Its been sung at every coronation since 1727 – enjoy!

Music is playing a big part in the Coronation of King Charles III.  Lord Andrew Loyd Webber commissioned by the King to compose a coronation anthem.  He asked Webber if he could write music to hum to.

Will you be watching the Coronation on Saturday May 6?  It is going to be a big day.  People from across the nation and the globe expected to be watching.  Special screens set up in a variety of location so that the community can watch on the Big Screen.
