BGT: Golden Buzzer perfect for Olivia – watch why Amanda Holden went for gold
There was no doubt that everyone agreed that Olivia Lynes an 11 year old school girl from Bath deserved such an accolade.
The whole audience was on their feet following her incredible rendition of Defying Gravity from Wicked. She was a perfect performer on ITV’s BGT.
Amanda Holden wasn’t sure she could do it because she had met Olivia before the show. But she said – “I always go on how I feel in my heart – everyone was on their feet – you truly deserved it Olivia I feel so proud of you darling.”
Simon Cowell was gob-smacked. He said it was like a scene out of a film. You just blew the roof off – a perfect, perfect golden buzzer – you so deserved it – you’r brilliant, brilliant
Alesha Dixon admired how effortlessly the schoolgirl could sing. “It flows and falls out of you – incredible performance”.
