Zelenksy: looking for “wings” – watch media conference where they talk jets
Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky urged UK to give his country “wings’.
PM Rishi Sunak has been with Zelenksy at army barracks in Dorset. This at the end of a surprise visit to the UK.
Zelensky is asking for the UK to provide fighter jets to Ukraine – something Western allies have so far declined to do.
He expressed gratitude for the equipment received so far. But he warned that supplies were “running out” and that this could result in “stagnation” in the conflict.
Sunak tells the news conference that “nothing is off the table” and jets remain “part of the conversation”.
