Heart attacks and strikes between Sunak and Starmer
Prime Minister tried to defend the governments position concerning the NHS strikes including the industrial action by the Ambulance Union. But did he succeed?
Sir Keir Starmer cut to the chase and asked if someone calls 999 fearing they are having a heart attack how long would it take for an ambulance to arrive.
Rishi Sunak responded by saying the government is implementing measures to improve ambulance times and asked why Labour won’t support minimum safety legislation.
The Labour leader accused the PM of not wanting to answer questions or take responsibility.
While Starmer focused on delays, Sunak said Covid and flu were making it a difficult winter.
