Rishi Sunak before Commons Liaison Committee – LIVE
The Prime Minister faces questions from the chairs of parliamentary select committees.
It’s expected the PM could face questions on the cost-of-living crisis and strike action by rail staff, nurses and ambulance workers.
He could also face scrutiny on other topics including migration and the war in Ukraine.
The last time a PM faced the committee it was Boris Johnson during the dying hours of his administration on July 6.
The House of Commons Liaison Committee is made up of the Chairs of each of the Commons select committees. It questions the Prime Minster about policy, promotes effective scrutiny of Government and considers the overall work of select committees.
