Hamza Yassin wins Strictly Come Dancing with partner Jowita Przystal
It took two and a half hours and a total of 12 dances but in the end, there could only be one winner. And this year it was a wildlife cameraman and CBBC’s Ranger Hamza, who lifted the Strictly Come Dancing glitterball!
For his professional partner, Jowita Przystał, landing a win with a total dance novice in her first year on Strictly was unexpected.
They beat Fleur East, Helen Skelton and Molly Rainford in a nail-biting final.
Hamza described his loving partner Jowita as ‘an angel disguised as a human being’.
Jowita said there was a lot of hard work and he had ‘pigeon toes’! What an amazing miracle on the dancefloor.
Hamza and Jowita’s victory comes despite the pair landing at the bottom of the leaderboard, no thanks to their Showdance which was earlier branded ‘underwhelming’ by Craig Revel Horwood.
