Gareth Bale penalty rescues Wales in World Cup – watch again!
Gareth Bale rode to Wales‘ rescue once again as the captain’s late penalty salvaged a draw against the United States in his country’s first World Cup game for 64 years.
Congratulations Gareth, congratulations Wales.
Wales were listless and overrun in a first half dominated by a vibrant USA team who were in the lead. However it changed when Bale struck gold for the Welsh team.
ITV’s Mark Pougatch presented coverage of Wales’ first game at a World Cup since 1958. This as they took on the USA, who missed out on the 2018 edition, at the Ahmed Bin Ali Stadium in Qatar.
