Princess of Wales comforts families fleeing Ukraine

The Princess of Wales comforted a weeping mother as she met with families who have fled the war in Ukraine on Thursday.

During a tour of the Reading Ukrainian Community Centre, Kate offered and listened to mothers who had brought their children to the Berkshire organisation and joined the little ones in their arts and crafts activities.

It came as the Buckingham Palace confirmed the Princess of Wales had offered help to Ukraine’s First Lady, Olena Zelenska, with her efforts to tackle the impact the war wa shaving on the mental health of Ukrainians.
