Sunak struggles to defend broken asylum system – PMQs at midday
Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer focused on immigration during Prime Ministers Questions. He was not going to wast time and got straight to the point.
He accused Rishi Sunak of having no plan to solve what Home Secretary Suella Braverman had referred to as the UK’s “broken” asylum system.
The Prime Minister responded by saying that the government delivered Brexit and the system of free movement of people ended.
Sunak also accused Labour of having voted against laws that would solve immigration problems.
