Level at which house buyers start paying stamp duty to be doubled to £250,000

Basic rate for income tax cut to 19p in April 2023.

LABOUR: today’s mini budget provides a comprehensive demolition of 12 years of the conservative government

The measures seen as a major change of direction for the government under new Prime Minister Liz Truss.

The centrepiece of the budget was a whopping tax cuts to businesses and individuals.  This in a bid to get Brits investing and spending. Alongside the reversal of the national insurance rise that Kwarteng announced ahead of time.  The chancellor is expected to reverse the planned rise in corporation tax and cut taxes on home purchases.
