King Charles leads vigil by Queens coffin

Charles III and his siblings – Princess Anne – Prince Andrew and Prince Edward – stood vigil by the Queen’s coffin at Westminster Hall.

Mourners who had been queueing most of the day were given an extra royal experience.

The four children of Queen Elizabeth II were standing to attention with their heads bowed to guard their mother.

An amazing duty.  The four arrived just after 7:30pm (16 September) and stayed in position for a good 15 minutes.
