Sajid Javid: Enough is enough – resignation speech House of Commons

Former health secretary Sajid Javid MP has delivered his resignation speech to the House of Commons.  He resigned yesterday along with Rishi Sunak.

Mr Javid said he had come to the conclusion that the government’s problems and scandals “start at the top” and “that’s not going to change”.

He also said those cabinet ministers who have stayed in government will have their reasons for doing so, but he pointed out that staying was also a choice.

But it seems more than thirty Ministers have resigned or asked Boris Johnson to resign.
