Emmerdale wins Best Soap prize – watch live presentation

The live ceremony from Hackney Empire returned for first time in two years due to Covid-19 cancellations.

And it was Emmerdale who emerged victorious.  They bagged the coveted Best Soap prize at the end of the night.  The cast and crew poured onto the stage to collect their award.

The Leeds-based soap tied with EastEnders as they led the winners with four gongs.  Emmerdale notched the Leading Performer, Best Family and Dramatic Performance prizes in addition to Best Soap.
