Boris Johnson not resigning not commenting on investigation – watch as he defended his role in Downing Street

Boris Johnson not resigning not commenting on investigation.

Prime Minister said he would not resign as he refused to answer questions about investigation into No 10 parties. The results of an internal inquiry into possible lockdown breaches are due.

Labour leader, Sir Keir Starmer accused the PM of showing ‘contempt’ for the public.  But Johnson said his government gets the big calls right.

The Prime Minister was under pressure but determined to tell MPs that the government was ‘getting on with the job’.

Sue Gray’s report is expected to be delivered very soon.

The Met Police has also announced its own investigation, heaping more pressure on the prime minister.  So, it is not over.

What are your thoughts on this?  Should he go or should he stay?
