Priti Patel: Third suspect in Salisbury poisoning – terrorism police submit evidence

PRITI PATEL vowed to take tough action against Russia after a third spy involved in the 2018 Salisbury nerve attack discovered by police.

Home Secretary told parliament she would “take every possible step” to ensure the people accused of carrying out the Salisbury poisonings would face justice.   She insisted the UK “would not let this go”.

Ms Patel said she would “take robust steps” to counter any Russian threat.  This after the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) authorised charges.  They are against a third person in relation to the 2018 attack,

The third Russian spy now faces charges of attempted murder over the Salisbury Novichok poisonings.  He is known as Denis Sergeev, said to have used the alias Sergey Fedotov.

Is this the right thing to do?  Will he be caught?  He’s in Russia and not likely to leave.
