Business Secretary: no question of lights going out

It comes as the Business Secretary has vowed to maintain the energy price cap amid a mounting crisis, saying “consumers come first”.

He opened his delivery by saying: no question of lights going out, no 3 day working weeks, this is completely misguided.

Kwasi Kwarteng led a roundtable with UK energy companies and consumer groups this morning.  It follows a series of crunch talks over the weekend, amid warnings that dozens of companies could go bust.

What are your thoughts?  Do you believe supplies will be enough this winter?  Are you still worried about the lights going out?
