On Track to end all legal restrictions on 21 June

PM: Confirmed the four tests have been met to further ease lockdown restrictions.

He urged everyone to be cautious about risks that come with close personal contact such as hugging.  Outdoors is always safer than indoors.  Wider social distancing rules will remain in place in adult social care, medical retail, hospitality and business settings.

Must learn to live with virus and allow people to exercise own judgement.

Indoor hospitality including pubs restaurants and entertainment venues are allowed to reopen from 17 May

All remaining accommodation including hotels, hostels and B&Bs can re-open

Domestic overnight stays will be allowed in groups of up to 6 people or two households

Today, Boris Johnson announced the single biggest step on the roadmap.  ‘Let’s protect these gains by continuing to exercise caution and common sense’.
