1m plus Rule Could End 21 June – says Boris Johnson

There is a good chance the 1m plus social distancing rule can be scrapped on  21 June in England.  This is the final date of the government’s programme out of lockdown.

The Prime Minister said the results of the vaccine rollout are really starting to show up in the epidemiology.  But any change would depend on the data.  He was in Hartlepool when he spoke of the possible change keeping apart.

PM also said he felt as though the next stage of reopening on 17 May would be good.  This covers indoor hospitality, entertainment and possibly foreign travel.

Do you think we can do it?  Will we all have more freedom to move around and connect with people?
