Prince Philip: Queen Mourns Alone – royal farewell

Prince Philip: Queen’s Solitary Sadness

The Duke of Edinburgh laid to rest in an intimate funeral at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.

Dean of Windsor paid tribute to Prince Philip’s “kindness, humour and humanity” during the ceremony.

Congregation wore masks and socially distanced in line with Covid rules, with the Queen seated alone.  Prince William and Prince Harry sat on opposite sides of the aisle but were seen chatting together after they left the service.

Prince Philip died at Windsor Castle on Friday 9 April, aged 99.

Commentators: Tom Bradbury, Julie Etchingham

Watch again.  A small service and Harry was there.  Should he have been there?  William, Kate and Harry had a chat later.
