NASA’s Perseverance Rover Lands on Mars – mission successful – landing begins -26.28

Watch again the epic journey unfold as NASA’s Perseverance rover lands on Mars. To reach the surface of the Red Planet, the rover had to survive the harrowing final phase known as Entry, Descent, and Landing.  And it did.

It was then that the rover searched the Jezero Crater for signs of ancient life.  Rover will also collect samples that will eventually be returned to Earth.  The rover is the biggest, heaviest, cleanest, and most sophisticated six-wheeled robot ever launched into space.  What a journey!
