Travellers fined or jailed if break rules of UK entry
Those returning from ‘red list’ countries will have to pay for their own hotel quarantine, transport and testing. The cost £1,750 a room.
Health Secretary confirmed the new ‘enhanced testing’ regulations for international travellers. From Monday 15 February anyone arriving in the UK required to test for Covid on days two and eight of their quarantine.
Fines of up to £10,000 and 10-year jail sentences handed out to those who break travel rules.
