Boris Johnson grilled by Liaison Committee – cross questioned by senior MPs
PM: very substantial risk intensive care units will be overwhelmed. Very concerned about reports of new variant from Brazil
The House of Commons Liaison Committee is made up of the 14 Chairs of each of the select committees. The Chair of the Liaison Committee is Sir Bernard Jenkin MP.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson last attended a Liaison Committee in September 2020.
The hearing will focus on the Government’s response to Coronavirus and issues around the end of the transition period and the UK’s place in the world.
Is this a good idea?
