Vaccine Emotions of Professor Van-Tam – choked back tears of happiness and praise

It was a moment of emotional elation for Professor Jonathan Van-Tam when he gave a few ‘reflections’ on the science behind the Pfizer/BioNTech jab.

He said: “I don’t mind telling you, and I’m not saying it for effect, the office will confirm it’s true, but I was quite emotional this morning. “What a momentous journey and international effort it has been.”

Board the ‘train’ to a vaccine success.

After months of draconian lockdown measures on the UK public, an end to the pandemic is finally in sight. The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) approved the Pfizer jab as safe to roll out to the public. Coronavirus vaccinations are due to start being given from next week.
