Wales: ban on sale of alcohol – from 4 December must close from 18:00
First Minister Mark Drakeford announced the new restrictions Monday 30 November. Pubs, restaurants and cafes will be banned from serving alcohol from Friday and will be unable to open to customers beyond 18:00 GMT.
Mark Drakeford said the measures were based on advice from the UK’s Sage group of scientific advisors and would be reviewed on December 17.
