It wasn’t expected but it stunned and smashed the Strictly come Dancing dance floor. It was the unlikely figure of Jamie Laing taking his turn at the dizzy heights.

His Couple’s Choice streetdance with pro partner Karen Hauer was like something from a Nineties hip-hop video. Well, Jamie is “straight outta West Brompton”, after all. He nailed the timing. He was agile, energetic and highly entertaining.

Jamie’s enthusiasm is a blast of fresh air and he’s improving all the time and it was hard to begrudge him his moment of glory.

Judges views:

Anton: he nailed it with style and timing.

Shirley: was on her feet. She said Jamie was agile and energetic.

Craig: it was Amazing!

So at the top of the stairs and with the results in Jamie and Karen totalled 29 taking them straight to the top of the scoreboard.
