Strictly: Nicola and Katya pull out after Katya catches Covid-19

video: Saturday October 31

Strictly Come Dancing – Nicola and Katya

A statement said the programme’s “protocols” meant the pair would now self-isolate and would not be able to take part in the rest of the series.

They made history as the first same-sex couple to take part in the UK show.

They looked perfect winners.  The first same sex pairing delivered a unique and totally stylish routine.

It was described by Strictly’s top judge, Shirley, as the best choreography she had seen on the show so far!  It was contemporary and told a story of Nicola’s journey and struggles with her boxing career.

Craig love the routine and thought Nicola had great determination.  He joined his co-judges with an 8 score. A total of 24!
