Wildlife Photographer of the Year Awards 2020

The winner was Sergey Gorshkov from Russia.  He was overwhelmed and said any of his competitors would have been worthy winners.  It took him a long ten months to catch the pic.

The National History Museum Live as it honours this year’s best nature photography at the Wildlife Photographer of the Year awards.  It’s from the magnificent Hintze Hall.

And it was Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge who announced the prestigious trophy winner.

The event hosted by BBC presenters and wildlife experts.  They were Chris Packham CBE and Megan McCubbin.  The digital awards ceremony was an event not to be missed.  It could be the first of its kind.
