The Prime Minister addressed the nation after announcing his new three-tier strategy for local lockdowns. He delivered the details to the Commons on Monday afternoon.

Boris Johnson was joined by the Chancellor, Rishi Sunak, and Chief Scientific Officer, Chris Whitty.

Very high – 3:  Pubs and bars closed  /  Household mixing banned in all settings

High Tier – 2:  No mixing households / Rule of six applies outdoors

Medium Tier – 1:   Existing National restrictions apply including Rule of six  /  10pm hospitality curfew
