The Museum stands in the heart of Silverton one of the hottest towns in Australia. This where filming of the Mad Max movie took place. A British man’s obsession with the film saw him move half way across the world to set up a museum in the Australian outback.
Adrian Bennett and family packed their bags in Bradford, in 2009. They headed for the village of Silverton in the west of New South Wales. Census taken in 2006 revealed a population of 89. The museum opened in 2010.
