Wales makes sweeping changes to lockdown

First Minister Mark Drakeford has announced a sweeping set of changes to lockdown rules in Wales.

The amendments mark the biggest shift so far. They allow house viewings in vacant properties and postponed moves permitted. Sports courts can also open again while all non-essential shops in Wales will be allowed to re-open from Monday.

Wales’ coronavirus travel restrictions could be lifted from 6 July so people can “travel as far as they like for all purposes,” the First Minister Mark Drakeford has said.
