Envelope with $800m helps Olympics – during Covid-19 Crisis
The International Olympic Committee has set-up a financial envelope with $800m. In Lausanne the IOC said it is to help cover costs due to postponement of Tokyo 2020 to summer 2021 (23 July – 8 August).
The funds will support International Federations, National Olympic Committees and the IOC-Recognised Organisations and athletes affected by the Coronavirus pandemic.
