Boris Johnson’s Road Map – stay alert, control the virus

Boris Johnson addressed the nation on the government’s exit strategy on what he has described as a ‘road map’. This is the next phase in fighting the coronavirus pandemic.

The UK is approaching its seventh week in lockdown and while some restrictions may ease following the speech, others will remain firmly in place.

Some could be lifted in phases with others likely to begin as early as Monday May 11.
