NI Nurse with Covid-19 urges public to stay home
A young nurse from Co Antrim is pleading with the public to stay at home after contracting coronavirus while working with patients. ‘I have tested positive for Covid-19 and I am finding it quite tough’.
Laura Donnelly, 22, from Carrickfergus made her appeal in an emotional video on her Facebook page. Laura explains the reality of the illness for a fit and healthy young woman.
In the clip, the University of Dundee graduate urges people to stop having play-dates with their children and visiting others during lockdown.
