Labour Leadership C4 Debate

Rebecca Long-Bailey, Lisa Nandy and the frontrunner, Keir Starmer, faced the studio audience after Emily Thornberry’s elimination. The debate was in Dudley in the West Midlands.  Questions came from people who were past, current and potential future Labour voters.

The trio all made it on to the final ballot having secured enough support from Labour branches and unions.

There were questions on the Labour Party‘s policy on the economy, the circumstances surrounding the loss of Louise Flack, LGBT issues, anti-semitism and Palestine.  How would the new leader handle these subjects?

A victor is to be announced in April.

Let us know what you think of the debate?  Who would you choose as the next Labour leader?  Or are you not happy with the choice?
