Labour Leadership Hustings. This first in leadership race

21 January 2020: Jess Phillips has announced she is pulling out of the party’s leadership election.  She was among those who took part in the first hustings in Liverpool.

The contedners: Sir Keir Starmer, Rebecca Long-Bailey, Emily Thornberry.  Also Jess Phillips and Lisa Nandy spoke at the Liverpool event.

In the audience Labour members who grilled the five MPs standing to succeed Jeremy Corbyn as party leader.  This for the first time.

The hustings began a series of events which will take place across the country.  This before the next leader is elected on 4 April.

Who is your favourite?  Watch and see how they progress. Who would you like to replace Corbyn? Is it a difficult choice?  Or is it obvious who should win?
