IFS manifesto analysis

Paul Johnson introduces the Institute for Fiscal Studies analysis of party manifestos. Includes details on the impact on public finances and who stands to win or lose from specific policy proposal.

Basically, the main political parties, Conservatives, Labour and Lib Dems are out of their depth on public spending says the IFS.  The sums they’ve outlined just don’t add up.
