The Secret Garden Trailer. Lands in UK cinemas April 17

A girl discovers a magical garden hidden at her uncle’s house.

With its expansive, semi-sentient forests and high-contrast colours, this version of The Secret Garden seems more Alice in Wonderland than bittersweet classic.  It certainly offers a different take on the book from the 1993 movie with Maggie Smith.

The preview also offers a peek at Colin Firth as the withdrawn Lord Archibald Craven, and Julie Walters as the strict Mrs. Medlock.

Director:  Marc Munden

Is this your kind of film?  Will you go and see it?  It is a great family movie
