Notting Hill Carnival. Colour, crowds, costumes hit the streets for August bank holiday. But 2020’s party cancelled because of coronavirus.  However returns for 2022

This a video is from 2011 when knife crime was becoming a serious part of London life.  Notting Hill was packed with people ready to party in true Caribbean Carnival style. Around 6,500 police joined the hundreds of thousands that crowded on the streets. But as the show was closing a man was stabbed. A boy aged 16 and four others arrested over the incident.  Enjoy the video!
