Harry and Meghan Christen Archie in Private. Close family including Meghan’s mother were there.

Watch the video showing the official photos released by Meghan and Harry immediately after the christening.

The son of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex was christened by the Archbishop of Canterbury. It was a private ceremony.

Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor was baptised in front of close family and friends. The christening was in the private chapel at Windsor Castle on Saturday.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended but it is not thought their children were there.

The Queen did not attend due to a prior engagement.

Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall reported to have arrived at the ceremony by helicopter.  Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, also attended.

Despite the christening being a private affair there was a huge crowd outside the Windsor Castle. A band played outside and the Horseguards paraded outside.  A great hit with the public!
