A fifteen year old Bee has no idea where her Mother has gone.  Bernadette Fox is full of anxiety and suddenly disappears. Bee does everything she can to track her down.  The Daughter discovers more about her mother troubled past in the process.

Cate Blanchett stars in Richard Linklater’s adaptation of the Maria Semple novel of the same name.

It tells the story of the sudden disappearance of Seattle woman Bernadette Fox.
