True West Vaudeville Theatre.  Kit Harington and Johnny Flynn set to star in a new production of Sam Shepard’s blistering play True West. 

It will be for a limited season at the Vaudeville Theatre in London’s West End from 23rd November.   Tickets on sale now.  Due to end February 23

Shepard’s play is about a Hollywood screenwriter named Austin who is researching a film.  Brother Lee, a drifter burgles homes for a living. They reunite for the first time in half a decade in their mother’s home in California. Over the course of the play, Lee pushes Austin to the edge of a mental breakdown.

Kit Harington is best known for playing Jon Snow in the television phenomenon Game of Thrones.  Kit plays screenwriter Austin.  Harington has an extensive stage career having made his debut in the National Theatre production of War Horse. The play eventually transferred to the West End. Also appeared in Posh at the Royal Court, The Vote at the Donmar Warehouse and Doctor Faustus at the Duke of York’s.

Johnny Flynn known for playing Dylan in the Netflix sitcom Lovesick, and is also a renowned singer-songwriter. On stage, he most recently appeared in Martin McDonagh’s Hangmen at the Royal Court. He was nominated for an Olivier Award for his role in Jez Butterworth’s Jerusalem.
